Prologue
Revelation 17:5 - And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 17:1-18 - And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters.
In the beginning there
was the father, and the woes warned to man were many if they did not follow the
ways of the Almighty. The priests of nations and many of their seed were
godforsaken. Woe to the fathers and the alliance of the evil. Woe to the
factions of ancient Romans and idolaters who indulged in the Seven Deadly Sins.
Woe to thee, and the bright and dear children; if ye practice the bedevilment
and the cross, it woe ye.
The Bible is clear about
the benefits of leading a clean and moral life; and the punishments and
travails of those who do not. Thus it is written. We read about Nimrod and the
Creator and mankind and the temptations and femaleness of Sheba and of
necromancy. We read about the progression of Man; of the solidarity of men and
women and the papal reign and the recovery (numerous times) following man’s
failures.
We read of Ruth and
prophets who tried to guide their peers in the Way, and we read of the tides
and sea urchins and all manner of life; the woes of the peasant and the fire
and the storm in the sea, and many of the ghosts and the omens warning of woe
for the many crimes against the women and men of our times.
We read of the stoves and
ovens, referring to the Holocaust. We read of turning the other cheek and
fevers that consume and the pains of evil. We read of our forefathers and the
Romans and often remark at the similarities of past and present.
We read of the woes of
the seed of mankind, and the layers and the seedy and the women and the wicked
and the persecuted and the curser and above all, of the devil. We read of the
wicked in our souls and the sheath of the women and the sleaze in the streets
and the slayers and priests and find parallels of the seedy of the arcane with
the rogue and many of the gunnery laws, today’s priests and yes, even brokerage
firms.
Has nothing changed in
all these centuries?
We strive for absolution
while the plague of the AIDS ravages and impugns the earth. We read about the
plague of the cowards who stalk the innocent, of the children and the killers
of the mute. Some even cry with sympathy for the rogues of the devil.
Over the centuries, many
of Christ’s followers have written of these things. In the time of the Romans,
the subject is symbolic of the fruits and fig trees and the Romans roast seeds
of the warning, ignoring them all. We read of the guile and the prisoner
society and mannerisms and the woe unto the beef and the robust mankind and the
fellowship of the servants and the priesthood of the gods. We read about the
many endangered species; of the colonialist and the favour and the grail of the
Lord. We read about the plague on Egypt and their gods, and the deranged and
woe and blight of separation from you and thine, as well as the river of blood.
We read about warnings
and ignore them. Many practice the occult and Satan. The bloke in the
wheelchair seizes the opportunity to please and recalls many of the ghosts and
the ghosts of the father who also either obeyed or ignored the warnings. We
harbour the criminals and workers while the godlike and priests pray for
humanity. We read about Jesus and the benefits of listening to and following
Him and yet the roamers and the seekers of gods didn’t hear, or care to.
Where are we going with
this theme? We read of God’s enduring grace and yet are warned of His
punishments for our sins. He walked the earth and gave His laws to Moses in the
Sinai. He gave and gave and yet many continue to fall prey to Satan. He was
executed to serve as our salvation and to annihilate false idols and idolatry.
He was sent to assimilate the masses and their beliefs and yet the law of the
Pharisees seemed to reject even His teachings. Many were the rulers and worship
of gods and the law relating to the sacrifice of the creatures for our
redemption.
Many of the Pharisees
ruled with warnings with the omens to come. Today, we have ignored those omens
and warnings. We move about in box trams and the railways and in the buses and
we have ignored the laws of God. We ignore the teachings of the Bible regarding
the laying of man with man, or woman with woman. It is written that these shall
not unite in married in the Old Testament and yet today we have millions of
homosexuals in the world. We are taught not to judge, and only God can judge,
and this is what the Bible says.
It is written that the
Lord Jesus Christ write this herein, and so do we judge or not judge? Still, we
have seen a decline in morals, customs and tradition. We have the police
striving to maintain order, the jokers empowered. We have the AIDS epidemic and
millions more diagnosed with HIV, the precursor to AIDS. It is written that the
holy man and priest isn’t meant to be female and yet today we see more women
ordained. Do we continue to just go along with ‘political correctness’ or do we
adhere to the laws of religion? Do we ignore the Old and New Testament writings
just because modern society deems them ‘old-fashioned’?
We have the organ
transplants and many of the heart and lungs taken from cadavers, without the
soul. The Jews and the Palestinians still fight over the Gaza Strip, and deal with threats of
nuclear war from nearby enemy states.
